Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
Thanks guys. I made the nose, time to do the ear and go to Maya! I dont know... I might keep it in Max to Pelt Map it, Max's relax algorithms are excellent.

Thanks! As for the ear fur... I dont know. I might end up using Maya hair for it :p as it has a bit too much of random direction going fur for my liking. I will try any thing I can though. Update coming soon.
Yeaaaah, i got headache with you dude. That kinda ears are quite difficult i'm sure of that.
I think you can just bring all the ear a bit more down, so that their weight would be more obvious at head junction.

But the ears are pretty well achieved to me. Nice nice nice
its a good start so far, still need a lot of tweaking.get rid of that triangle near the corner of his eye.anyway with fur,it will surely looks way better
