This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

well if you are happy with it then there is no problem. But back to your monitor, like I said, edges and stuff, if you are aiming for realism, some of the edges need to be softer and you need to look more into hard surface modeling.

actually a sqaure doesn't become a perfect circle when smoothed.
