Vehicle: Robotica

This is something I started last week worked on it over the weekend and started messing around with some HDRI. Not sure what I'm going to do with it though. It's all rigged I just need to work on the dynamic tubing and then it's done. I know it's very clean looking but that's what I wasnted to go for. I will do a dirtied up version as soon as I can be arsed to do the uv'ing

Sorry for the large pic (but it's the only way you'll see the pipes and not have them killed by compression! user added image

let me know what you think user added image

Hi Alan

Looks like there's a lot of detail hiden, inside the "vehicle".

How about making some of the superstructure perspex/macralon, etc. to show-off the inside???

Looks like it could go deep-sea!!

(Great work, as usual, Alan).

good luck buddy

Kieth

PS HDRI looks fine....

i did think about some perspex, maybe some port-holes or something it is a little hard to see the detail inside but maybe that's something I should address in the render itself.

Thanks for the feedback though.

Alan

How do you render it with an outline or is that something you did in photoshop after?

I kinda like the idea of not seeing all of the inner workings. The amount of detail you show in the render makes the viewer want more ... which in this case I think is a good thing.

Just my opinion but I'm stickin' to ituser added image

Hey Alan

I thought I recognised the designers name to go with the model, which is great by the way. If anyone needs any influence for their work or inspiration should I say, check out Fengs web site, impressive to say the least, hes just finished work on a certain SW movie!!

Loooovely Render
