Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

cool youved got the main shape of the whole body, would look really great if you started pushing things out and giving abit of detail soo things are noticeable instead of just smoothed out ...

goksimaster, do you mean more detail?

I don't need more detail, most of the body won't be seeable. He'll be covered with clothes and some armor.

why build the body if he's going to wear clothes and armor? you really only should model what you're gonna see, unless you plan on using cloth.

If your making his armour over your body I would try to get him anatomicly correct by adding more detail to his base body.

Is his mouth open for a reason?

The mouth is opened, because I thought he would have a better expression. And as I sad he doesn't need more detail because under the armor he'll wear clothes. You'll se only the arms and the legs.
