rendering shadow question

is it possible to render the shadow of an object on to a ground plane, without the object in question appearing in the frame?

Hello,

if you select the object that you don't want in your scene, open it's attributes and make your way to the render stats menu and make sure that Casts Shadows is checked on and Primary Visibility is checked off.

Take it easy,

Mat.

Have you tried doing a normal render, not just a shadow pass?
