Strange texturing problem from software rendering to mental ray

Hi there

I'm practising putting together a simple kitchen scene. When I render the image in Maya Software it renders the two walls correctly but when done in Mental Ray, the checker floor pattern appears on the walls. Refer to the attached pics.

Using Maya 7

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Nope.......nothing is changed except the renderer.
Of note - if I run render diagnostics, this is what I get:

MENTAL RAY RENDER DIAGNOSTICS:
Textures
- Filter type of file node "file1" (Quadratic) is not supported.
- Filter type of file node "file2" (Quadratic) is not supported.
// Warning: 2 warnings, see script editor for details. //

File 1 & 2 are the wallpaper bitmaps for the 2 walls.
