This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

booleen union issues

im currently working through the dragon tutroial and i have go to the point where i must join the leg to the body
but whenever i do boolen union both the leg and the body disapear
any help is much appriciated

Its ok problem resolved
i just loaded up my old save of the dragon and it worked
bizare

Usually issues like that are caused by poor intersections between the models. Booleans are good WHEN they work, but they are quite picky and only work when everything is perfect.

Glad u got it sorted tho.

yeah i know there really picky, ive had trouble with them before
its so frustrating
