Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

Painting Weights Problem
When using the paint weights tool on a smooth skin I can't see the interactive update of white paint on the skin. However to see what I've done I have to select a different joint, then re-select the one i was painting to see the newly weighted effect.
Is there any way I can fix this?

I think its because i was trying to paint weights on a sub-div.
So instead I've converted my model to a polygon, smoothed it, and now it seems to paint fine.
