Question

I am new to Maya and I have done something while modeling that I cannot undo. My model looks like all of the vertices are selected and they are yellow. This happens all of the time no matter what I am doing. I have done something without realizing that I did. Please point me in the correct direction. Thanks in advance.

it sounds like you have turned on soft select.
Just go to the selection settings and turn it off.


edit - Saying that it might just be a graphic glitich I get some times where all the ver`s look like they are selected when they are not - but to solive that I just select and deselect them all - sorted. But I dont think it is this.
