Texture glitch issue in Maya 2008

I'm using Maya 2008 and I seem to have a weird texture issue along edges of an object when it's scaled in the meter settings. Anybody have an idea as how to get rid of this? Other note, it doesn't seem to affect the object when it's rendering.

Not sure why its like that but you could try hardening or soften the edge (I think it will be harden), see how that goes...........dave

400x400x400m. When I'm working on ships, I try to do make them as close to scale as possible.

EDIT: Yup, that was it. Looks like I had a too small number with the near Clip Plane. Thanks!
