Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

New Website/Sayin hello!

Hello hello my lovely 3D people! Its been a while. I know I post a thread every 3 months or so updating with what I'm doing but I have been visiting this site since I was like, 14, so I dunno, I like it here. Even though I've abandoned 3D for the moment (uni takes up a lot of time) I still like to see how everybody is progressing here.
Great work as always in the challenge forum! I'm 2 months from finishing my second year so get prepared, I'm ready to join in again!
Thought I'd show any of you interested people my website! Its got basically this year and a little of last years work, even some old 3D stuff in the scrapbook. Basically the stuff thats taking up all my time!

So yeah. I'm going to do my 3D research and get up to speed if I have any spare time and hopefully you might see more of me around (I know ive said it before but if once you fail, try again i guess)

Toodles!

I'm surprised you went with the bright minimalist design ( nothing to break up the brightness so it was not so fun for my eyes), I expected something twisted. Either way, explain that fuzzball user added image

Thanks guys user added image

I figured minimal works better for photos and I was advised that it looks more 'professional'. When i learn how to use Dreamweaver ill try a few different css schemes or something.

ahh the fuzzball... basically we got overrun by tumbleweed, im talking 5 foot deep and all over the place. we decided to make a giant tumbleweed from the tumbleweed for an installation and lit it up all pretty and nice.

only 1 more year to go untill i finish my degree, should be interesting!
