topography and road in maya 2011

Hi, I need help with modelling (in polygons) a road and attach it to a topography: i modelled the topography with sculp geometry tool (an imported grayscale image) and i have the trace of the road.. My question is.....¿how can i do to make that the road adapts the same form as the topography?

You could made the topography live then draw a curve were you want the road then extrude a poly profile shape along it.............dave

You could draw two NURBS curves for each side of the road, then project the curves onto the ground mesh. Then, loft those two curves together.
