Maya 2012 Trial x64 bit constant crashing

For the last 27 days or so, I have been trying out Maya 2012. It is a great program but the only problem I have with it is that ever since day 1 the program has been crashing constantly. At first I thought it was me because I was completely new with it so I gave it the benefit of the doubt. It came to the point where Maya would crash 4-5 times (not exaggerating) during a 2-3 hour session. The reasons were not consistent, once would be because I apply an Insert Edge Loop, another time would be creating new polygon. Sometimes it would be considerably reasonable reason like me messing around with offset, which was fair enough.

It is now day 27-28 and it is still happening, so I thought I might look around for some fixes as I am very much interested in buying this program, but clearly I do not want to get it if it can't even sustain a 15 minutes without crashing.

My Specifications:
Chassis & Display Viper III: 18.4" Glossy Full HD LED Widescreen (1920x1080)

Network Facilities GIGABIT LAN & WIRELESS 802.11N CARD INC. BLUETOOTH 3.0
USB Options 2 x USB 3.0 PORTS + 3 x USB 2.0 PORTS AS STANDARD

I have tried constantly deleting history which seems to help a little but it still crashes a considerable amount.

Hope someone can help,

LOL it doesn't only crash on the trial...sorry couldn't resist taking a piss.
Well quite honestly, I skipped 2012 altogether and only jumped the bandwagon when Maya 2013 SP1 came out: https://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet...linkID=9242259

You might wanna try this one out and leave the 2012 alone trust me you"ll feel better user added image
