fill volume (i.e. box) with geometry (i.e. spheres)?

hi there,

is it possible to fill up a volume (i.e. box) with randomly sized instanced geometry without any plugin or script? I meant like the volume is filled up with spheres from top to buttom.

thx

max

Not really. You can pack a volume full of nParticles, but it's slow, and only supports one geometry type (sphere).
