Mitsubishi Evolution IX

Jumped back in to maya, I-Iybrid and i are both trying to model a Lancer Evo and compare them when we are done. I thought i would put the wips from mine here.

So far: Worked on the hood...

*edit*

Yeah saved my wips as tiffs so i couldnt upload them. My next wips i will save as a better format.

how about you just type in snipping tool and use that for a screencap.

Made a pretty good dent on the front bumper, i have several reference images but some seem to conflict, seems there are a ton of different trims for this car.

Logo done. I put way more detail into it than i needed to, got carried away. I put a placeholder where the grill/mesh is going to be.

Got a decent amount done on the front quarter panel. This is an awkward car with weird lines, not used to so many inward curves. Still a bit more to do though.

I will be doing a very simple interior just for show. Steering wheel, dash, seats. That's about it. I will be doing the interior of the trunk the same way. very simple, more of a place holder than anything.

This is my attempt so far on the door. Not ideal and will probably take a bit more tweaking until i consider it acceptable.

Front end looks good so far, just a few small tweaks and it would be close to perfect (note image).

That hard edge running above the wheel should sort of spread out and end just before the door.

The indent on the door should be triangle shaped, rather than square shaped as you have it.

Door handle indent should be more squared off at the top and bottom

Thanks for the help acid. I fixed all the issues you pointed out. I really need to get some better references for this car as i am not as familiar with it as i should be for modeling purposes.
