Trouble Starting Maya 2016 on Macbook Pro (2014) [OS X Yosemite 10.10.4]

Hi, I downloaded the student edition of Maya 2016. When I installed the software, it initially worked. But since then, I haven't been able to start up the software at all. I don't know where to begin, but I would appreciate any help. Thank you!
