Mixamo Merging Animation Clips in Maya

I have been looking into this for quite some time but, I just can't get this to work. I am trying to merge multiple clips from Mixamo in Maya. How I go about doing it, is by first opening the T-Pose rig. Then importing the first fbx animation file using the Mixamo Script and then baking the animation data to the ctrl curves using again the script. Then I make a character set from the curves and then I make an animation Clip. Afterwards, I move the clip over in the trax editor and try to import my second fbx anim file via the Mixamo script however when I do this, the rig breaks, things just go all out of whack. Does anyone know how to go about doing this? Have you susccefully merged/Blended clips using the Mixamo rig? I have tried changing the offset options of the first fbx animation imported (i.e Relative, Absolute...) but that doesn't solve the issue. Thank you for your help.
