MARTIX RELOADED - FULL DISCUSSION - SPOILER ALERT

WARNING: This post is to feature any and all information concerning the Matrix Realoded. If you have not seen the movie, reading this thread is not recomended.

Ok, so I saw the movie. COOL AS HELL! I loved it! But there were a few things that I dont understand. One. The twins. They chase the Key Maker through a door. It is my understanding that were the doors opens to is dependant of what key is used. SO... How did the twins know what door was going to be opened. I say this, because they had a gun. They did not carry the gun with them. If the gun was in the SUV, then it must be theres, there for knowing where to park the car. How dose that work? Also. The architect. His speach was a little confusing. 6 Matrixs? My understanding is that The Oricle's prophacy was to get The One to do what ever it had to do, to restart The Matrix. That The One always had the same reaction untill now. Neo's was different, because it envolved Love.

Maybe I saw it differently but this is how I saw it. When the key maker reached the door he unlocked, trinity and morpheous with him, the twins were right behind him. And since the door had not been closed they went to the same place. Hold on!!! user added image

Yes different keys open different doors. I think the Key maker was wanting to get to the garage because he was trying to get out of Merovingian's clutches. The door he unlocked went to the garage. The Twins followed and got in thier SUV, because it was actually the garage for Merovingians place. Pony agrees with my take LOL.

When the Architech mentions 6 Matrixes he is refering to how many times he had ended up with the same problem in the matrix because of the "anomalies". The 5 times before Neo the choice was always the right hand door. To save Zion, that in actuallity, is a rebirth of the Matrix, supposedly with out the anomalies.

I would be asking what really causes the anomaly?? Why is it that in all his wisdom The Architech can not get rid of that little troublesome error in the system??

I forge now what all he said. But. The anomaly, is the 1%. What he did, was give every human, a choice. Except the Matrix, or dont. (why he must give them a choice, i dont remember.) 99% of them except it. The 1% that doesn't, is the anomaly. Now, considering that there are 6 Billion people on earth, that 1% would be 600 Million. The little 1% anomaly is a freakinglot of people! Almost 2 times more than in the entire US. ( I make this point because I am an American.) Mabey the writers weren't thinking when they picked that number. Mabey

Your math is off. It's 60 million people. But I somehow doubt they have 6 billion batteries. That's a lot of mouths to feed.

My thoughts are:

Was the "Architect" lying outright? ..and was he just another "anomoly" himself? (like the Oracle)

I was also wondering about the belief that there somehow a "second level of control"?

Or, was "the architect" just another roadblock/security checkpoint used to disorient and/or slow down any would-be people trying to shut-down the Matrix?

Just my thoughts...

OK. I should have said more in my last post. Here goes my belief of the Matrix Reloaded so far.

Zion, Neo, and the rest of the crew are not in the Real world. They are still in the Matrix. I think this is clever subterfuge by the Machines to fool the Humans to believe they can hide 250,000 people in the center of the earth. Think about it for a second. What if those 250,000 people rejected the first Matrix(ie the actual numbers of the 1%). But instead of flushing them down the drain like they did Neo, they actually simulate it. Making the humans believe they are free. Now this makes things interesting.

One thing the architect made clear is that the meeting between Neo and him has happened five times before. Now this will get a little hard to follow, so bare with me. Knowing that there are anomalies, the Matrix reloads itself whenever it becomes unstable. But, each time it learns how to counter-react to the anomaly. Case and point. The Oracle. She was a means of control set up by the Matrix. She led everyone into doing exactly like she wanted. How else did she know Neo was going to knock over the vase? She was part of the Matrix. Simple really. Now, on to the more important features of the Matrix. The fact that there are older, software related anomalies states that there is something amiss in the Matrix. How can it have rogue software running inside it's system? Most computers I know do not act appropriately when software becomes unstable. Crash city. So why would the Matrix allow them to live? Because it's part of the design of the Matrix. How else would the keymaker know Neo when he walked in? Much less say he was waiting for him.

Moving on. I believe Neo is actually a clone of his former selves. The reason I think this is because that is the only way I know that the Matrix could control him. Clone him, reprogram his DNA, make him more susceptable to the Matrix Code. Now I'm probably way off in left field with this theory, but I think it's plausible. This would explain Neo's mastering of the Matrix as he has. All designed by the Matrix so that he could "THINK" he can actually break out/control the Matrix. Pretty clever if you ask me. Now the architect confirms this when they are in the room talking about the previous Neo's. This brings up an interesting perspective though, because it looks like the Matrix is at a loss as to how to proceed. This Neo is different from the rest. Maybe the others were different too, but that doesn't matter. Neo appears to have changed something that the Matrix didn't expect. What that is I don't know, but I think Neo wasn't supposed to survive the explosion of the building. For some reason I have a feeling that he should have been killed there.

Now, on to my predictions of what will be in Revolutions. Neo, seemingly able to control the "REAL" world machines by mere hand gestures has created an enteresting dilemma. How is he going to fight off 250,000 of those octopus looking machines? Good question huh? I want to take you back to a seemingly innocent scene where Neo is given a spoon from one of the orphans. It seemed like it was just a senimental good luck charm, but in actuality it wasn't. It was a message to Neo that this is still the Matrix. None of this, as they saw, was real. Bet you folks didn't see that one did ya'? Anyway, I feel the next movie is going to be about how the heck can Neo truly free everyone from a Matrix that could be infinite in depth? I dunno how, but it sure will be neat on how it goes about happening.

Just my thoughts. I could be wrong about all of this. Hopefully I am, since if I'm not then I already know the plot of the next movie. Oh well. I'll have to wait and see.

remember, NEO FELT the sentinals comming and was able to stop them just like they were bullets? Or when the Archetict was talking and he said that Zion was just another form of control, that there were many othe forms of control, and that it was a cycle... That was also a major hint that he was still in the matrix, or atlest a matrix within the matrix... But in that case, when does it all end? lol

You know, there is a typo in the title of this thread. We are in SM's version of the Matrix. Called the Martix. LOL

Yeah, I beat my head trying to figure out why in the world did they have the spoon. Then it hit me. An orphan sent it to Neo. Oracle. Orphan. The trick about there really isn't a spoon. Wicked. heh

There are other things that prove Zion is still in the Matrix. Smith downloads through the phone. Pretty obvious that he can't operate a human body the same way he can operate a virtual one. 2 and 2 together makes 3. Smith downloaded into another Matrix.

Smith said they were still connected. How could that be? Obvious. Neo and Smith are both still in the Matrix. But one thing I find interesting is the buffer, where Smith and Neo go and the cannot be seen in the Matrix. How much do you want to bet that is where Neo needs to go to the root of the Matrix? Either that, or there is an awful lot of plot development for something that won't be used again. Signs stating that "They disappeared" when the enter that zone is a clear indication, IMO, that that will be used in the next movie. But that's just an assumption on my part. I don't really know if Neo could even find it again anyway.

For all I know Neo can take a ride on a sentinal all the way to the surface. Land on a beach with palm trees. Make a martini with a little umbrella, and sun himself till the end of time. Sounds just as likely as some of my theories. LOL
