Default Furniture tutorials

Hi.
I'm learning to use Maya. I've managed to build myself a house. However, my house doesn't have any furnitures. I realized that I'm clueless about this. I don't know how to start.
Does anyone know where I can find tutorials on how to model furnitures (chairs, tables, lamp, electrical appliances, etc)?
Thanks!!

I guess modeling furniture is like modeling anything else. use primitives to build the basics and modify these to suit your needs. its just to start modeling what you see.

Just start and if you run into problems, then ask here and you shall recieve the help I guess

Good luck ..
