RISE | Visual Effects Studios put together a VFX breakdown for their work on the German fantasy movie Jim Button and the Wild 13. It has a lot of impressive simulation shots from seascapes and cloud covers.
The VFX studio started in 2007 in Berlin intending to work as a small team on German TV and film effects, but that plan failed. Today, the award winners have 140 permanent staff members and an additional 120 freelance artists around Germany. They’ve worked with directors like Guy Richie and Gore Verbinski and taken on projects from the Marvel superhero franchise, as well as Netflix’s popular series Dark.
