Check out the new teaser trailer for Dumbo, coming to theaters in March 2019. The live-action feature directed by Tim Burton is loosely based on the 1941 Disney classic of the same name.

Colin Farrel stars as Holt Farrier, who gets recruited by a circus owner to care for a baby elephant with oversized ears. Once it’s revealed he can fly, the circus owner comes up with a plan to make the circus rich.

Disney’s recent string of live-action adaptations of animation classics has been very successful. This includes Beauty and the Beast (2017), The Jungle Book (2016) and Cinderella (2015), that all became box office hits. The film that kicked off the renaissance though was Alice in Wonderland (2010), also directed by Burton. Although it had little in common with the original animated Alice from 1941, it went on to gross $1.025 billion.
