my first contest. yay. neways i was thinkin of a pic my bro made just with my own twist. so there is this dog/creature thing that is being hung by a leash at his owns side who for some reason loathes the dog/creature. and dog is loookin aty the camera and the own is takin the dog into some kinda mechanised/plant house. there is a light shinin outta house and the woods has a dark and eerie lightin. tthe owner is a humanoid robot. tada!!! thats idea 1. idea 2 and sketches comin soon.

haha. rotfl ive been using maya for over 6mnths now and i didnt know there was an incremental save!!! when it crashed after a half an hour of work i would bang my tower!! hahahahaha. i feel so retarded. oh yeah mental ray is retarded cause it crashes all the time.

hey i intend on using maya fur. how can i get mental ray to render fur? or how do i go about renderin the scene so that i get fur?

Convert the fur to polys. (actually, I don't know how to do it, cos I render things with Maya Software)

yeah i intend to. thats mouse fur i used...maya preset.. i intend to make it more sleek down and rat like. nasty lookin.
