This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

how to install maya in linux ?

well i wanna install maya 5 on my linux system but i aint got a clue how to do that

anybody done that ?

try the alias website... It looks confusing but maybe you'll understand what they are saying.

This might seem silly, but you might try reading the documentation that comes with Maya. There's usually a hardcopy document called Installing Maya that ships in the box. If you don't have a hardcopy, there should be something on the installer cd.
