Fur Attractors in Maya 7 problem.

While attempting to get dynamics on fur i feel comfortable with almost everything but the local / global setting for the attractor.

The setting is under
Fur > Edit Fur Attractor Set >
at the top is Local or Global.

Local works perfect for me except when i rotate on X or Z
Global acts correctly with all the transformations but it changes the look of the fur.

What i need is it to keep the original look of the fur (like in local) but also work correctly with rotations like the global setting.

Am i missing something ??

here are some images of the fur in local setting

if anyone has any ideas for this or know of the setting to correct my problem i would appreciate it :]

thanks
