About This Course

Digital humans the art of the digital double

In this course, we look at the processes used in the film and tv industry to create reusable character models. If you have ever wanted to know how digital doubles are created in the movie industry, then this course will give you an insight into how it's done.

This particular tutorial is specifically aimed at the more experienced Maya user and assumes you have a good grounding of the software and its tools and will show you how to create a clean, well topologised character model and uvs for an optimum workflow.

This course is created by Jason Edwards, who has been a modeler in the VFX industry for many years now. Jay has worked on some of the biggest films over the last 10 years. You can find his IMDB here.
