Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

hey guys, i am considering buying the book, "The Art of Maya", i just want to know if it's N00b friendly. :p

well personally I get more from a video tutorial then any book but I think I had this book but cant remember, so if I did it didnt leave much of an impression user added image

i agree, i usually like vidz more than books, however i glanced through it once and saw some really nice stuff, int i cant always find useful tutorials

I have it- I love it- I like that it is bare bones and broke down well.

but it is easier to learn by watching someone else do it (SM video plug user added image)

If you haven't purchased it yet, you can get the best price at "www.overstock.com". I just bought my copy from there a couple days ago.

I looked at the book at a bookstore a few weeks ago and was quite impressed with what it showed, especially for a nooB like me. I am looking forward to it.

im assuming those are american prices, so after shipping costs, it would be cheaper to buy it from www.Chapters.ca, but thanks anyway man
