I'd probably say gallery. Yeah, I know mine shows a news page, but I'm thinking of changing it. user added image

mine is the update page so people quickly know what new content has been added recently

I agree with darkware. Maybe have the gallery with a small section about recently updated areas with a timeframe. I hate when i get to a site that says "Gallery updated" and it was done 2 years ago...
