This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
I like it , it's verry cool , I think you could add a bump map with scretches (look at an elephants skin to see what I mean) ,it looks awsome , but if you make it too dark , your moddeling will be in vain and its a peatty because the moddeling is verry good.Keep it up!!
There is a lot of work to be done. I would like to possibly UV map the elephant and texture it, because I have not added any texture or bump map to its body yet, so it still looks plain. Of course I have to finish the modeling and positioning first. I'll have to do all that when I get back from Tennessee:eeek2: A little vacation, but time taken away from completing this competition.
My progress has been very slow lately, as I have had a lot of things to do. Here is a slight updated image, with have the polygon mouse. I posed him toward the camera, eating a peanut, but i still have to add more grass, smooth the mouse, fix the elephant, and finish off lighting and texturing... a lot of work
Since I did not have the time these past couple of weeks to finish the scene the way that I would have liked to, I will most likely just try and finish the modeling of the mouse and elephant tonight, and get a render to put in the final scene thread by the end of the deadline.
I just moved into my dorm for the school year, so now I can actually do some work.... here is one last update before my final image is posted. There is a lot of work I would have liked to do on the scene though.
