HELP....

Hi, its just me again The_beginner, I have just got MAYA and I am doing quite well...I also have Lightwave and that's cool. MAYA seem's like the odds are better though....anyway, I was wondering if you kind people could tell me how to symmetryu something. On lightwave there's button. On/off. I really need it, because I know this sounds lazy, but I am creating a head, with my head I'm always switching, what I do to this side, I've got to do to that side, changing from Panel to panel. How can I creat something on the RIGHT which will also be on the left?.

Wrong forum mate, think you want the beginner thread.

I think what you mean is you want to create an instance, select the object, go to duplicate -> option box, set the scale to -1 and the option to instance, click duplicate.

Make sure your pivot's in the center of the grid for it to work
