This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

i dont have modeling menu set..what should i do?please tell me?

sir im using maya unlimited 8.5 version

I believe in v 8.5, the menu set you are looking for is "Polygons" user added image

Aye, stupid Autodesk changing the names on us...>.<

EDIT:

That's if you're modeling with polygons; if you're going to be working with NURBS or SubDiv's, "Surfaces" is the menu set you'll want to use.
