This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
I was having a problem with a model i made, where the parts would shake a bit when the model moved in game, i triangulated it, and it stopped doing this, and today, i made a new model, loaded it up in the game, and it does the same thing, even though i triangulated it.... anyone have any ideas to what could be the problem?
I'm not a game expert but;
maybe the polycount is to high?
Maybe the start and end position off the animation is a little bit off which causes the flickering when performing a cycle on it?
any time i make a model with more the one part it shakes in game, well it doesnt really shake, its hard to explain really.... with a tank for example, i have the tracks, basis, turret, gun, on a normal model in the game, when the tank moves, the basis doesn't move an inch, on my models, the tracks stay still, but the basis acts as if its going over a bump road, and the plane in game the wings tip to one side and back to the other, its very confusing to my mind
