Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Modeling without image planes

I am really interested in this thing, and i want to learn how do i do it. It is possible modelers to model something without putting image planes in Maya? But have other real life images, to see.

image plains are more used as reference but yes you can do it without them if you have that good of an eye.

If you model without reference planes, it's usually a good idea to block things out first. I find that by blocking things out makes it easier to keep everything looking the right size...at least for me.
