Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

2 Joint groups for same object

Ok, so i have finished my joint-setup, and im happy with it. Now i noticed there's no way that i can move this. as you can see in my images this is what's going on. Grouping them together creates the same result as in the last image.

any suggestions?

If it matters, when i delete my history the joints have no effect on my mesh anymore (im not sure if its supposed to be like that)

Also my tongue mesh seems to be frozen, while the mouth mesh isn't. when i delete history from the tongue and re-bind with the joints it automaticly freezes. i wonder how that didnt happen to the other mesh, anyhow maybe this is the problem, though i do not know how to "unfreeze" an object .. user added image
