Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world

Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

After dilli dalling for almost a year yesterday I blew a huge hole in my pocket by buying the Dell Precision M60 laptop :-) :-(

A part of me thinks that I should have got the Apple G5 machine. It would have been too huge to carry around with me though :-)

Wish me luck guys. This machine symbolizes my committment to master Maya even on the MOVE :-)
The only problem is that my avtar will have no money for her skirt.
Soon my avtar will be a naked girl as i have to sell her skirt :-)

Hey I managed to get 1x512 Mb stick free after virtually begging with the Dell lady. Almost managed to get free upgrade to DVD burner but her boss said no...she could not fully imagine me on my knee over the phone otherwise she would have paid from her own pocket :-)
I was even cheeky enough to ask her to give me the whole laptop free :-O She was laughing for a long time and thats when I made her give me the RAM.
