This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
Hey everyone, I am busy making a "Gimp" so that I can practice my lip sync and animations with. It's just a simple character, nothing special. I now have to set his bones up and all that stuff. Oh yeah his name is... "The snitch". I will post some poses when I am done skinning and all that stuff. C & C are always appreciated. Thanx
hey MainlineX! whatsup!... Im doing a sideproject with such a character to practice my skinning first and than to animate... It's nice to see someone else get there hands into it... I probably learn lots from this... make sure you update! :p
nice lookin' SNITCH you have there... looking forward to it
catch ya later
I have a question.. How do you guys get your scenes to look like a real object..?? i dont know if im saying this right but that image has a real like quality to it.. like clay but real i dont know....
Hey Evox.....Whenever I render I use Mental Ray instead of the Default Software renderer, and that''s how I get the sort of "real" look going. Your lighting is also important, and the way your shadows look also adds to it.
