I learned today proffered conditions can restore self-worth and aren't necessarily one-sided, nor a result of friendships.

i learnt 2 things (or better i would say i discovered i have attained an interesting level at):
1) That fast talking, blurbing and blathering work with strangers and multitudes, and how to do it
2) To shut up JIT when and with those wich is convenient (to me) to do so.

And i feel worse than before realizing it.

heh, it gets even worse if they bunch together... oh and NEVER ever be a PR in a con, in any con...(unless youre doing a sociology study about the level of stupidity attainable when individual persons turn into a group)

Anyways i ve learnt that paganism in the days of the week is present in english too (i alrready knew it was in spanish, but pagan english or viking mytology is more of a hobby than something you are considered to need to get taught here... (on school or in business uni i mean...)

Spanish / Latin / roman-helenic deity / english / viking-pagan english (uh..saxon?) deity

Domingo/Dies Solis/ Helios (God of the Sun)/Sunday/sun

Lunes/Dies Lunae/Luna-Selene (Goddess of the Moon)/Monday/moon

Martes/ Dies Martis/ Ares(Mars), God of war/Tuesday/Tiw

Miercoles/Dies Mercurii/ Mercury (Hermes)/Wednesday/Woden (wotan?)

Jueves/Dies Jovis/Jupiter - Zeus/ Thursday/Thor

Viernes/Dies Veneris/Venus - Aphrodite/Friday/Freya

Sabado/Dies Saturni/Saturn/Saturday/Seterne(God of Agriculture)

i remembered that the whole point of going freelance instead of under contract is being able to get for the hours of your work the same(or very little less) as the company that would contract you charges the client...
