Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

can anyone explain me about LOCAL ROTATION AXIS?

i know just the X axis must be along the bone ..but how about the other 2 axis(y and Z) what direction should they're pointing to..???

please anyone

I think Y should be up and Z should be forward in relation to the object

thank you for your answer but i'm not quiet understand ... let say ..if i orient the joint iat the arm ... what direction should y and z go ... and does it have to be the same for both arm ..

If you're orienting "X" to be along the bone, "Y" as up would be the same, but since the rig would be inverted to the other side the "Z" would have to reverse in order to still face forward on the model... anyone else have more/better input?
