need help with modeling the columns for the parthenon

i have tried to make it from curve and then loft ... but nope ..it not come up good ....

i got all figureed out ..thanks a lot guys

i just use the cylinder and extrude face with keep face together

off.... thanks for Six60Sicks(guy in cgtalk)
