Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

fcheck issue

im trying to import a plain image to my scene so i went to file>import and i selected my picture but then i get some fcheck window. i wanted my picture to go straight into the scene but instead it went on some image editor. do u guys know how to bring the picture straight to the scene?

p.s.: i could use a plane and post an image file to it but i wanted to import the image just by itself.

You could select the camera you are going to use and in the attribute editor go down to environment and create an image plane then map the picture to that, that's much like creating a plane and assighning the texture to it though.

Is that what you where after,

Otherwise I haven't read anywhere where you could individually import them.
