Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
humnnnn...
Can I see the back side of her leg?
You know some curves are more dificult to make than another ones.
And this case back curve looks more interesting.
I mean seriously.
Wow... Man, I've had hard times last days. I've done much sketches of body and head in various positions, but was very difficult to model a decent head. I did three heads, including the first one, before I could do a good one. Now Michelle looks a woman (in my opinion, at least). I'm including some detail in her body, and I guess ZBrush is no longer necessary, since she doesn't require a realistic look in this new version.
I started working on her clothes and accessories this weekend. I've lost some time to find out a way to do the clothes, but it seems I will achieve my goals now.
Swankymonkey: Thanks. In fact I realized that a little bit before I see your post. And I've fixed. It was my first plastic surgery involving ears. But my pacient looks good now.:p
t1ck135: I'd like to work on her profile... But I'm affraid I couldn't finish Michelle in time. Unfortunatelly, I I figure out that I will work on that just if I get extra time for it.
Almost none progress this weekend, unfortunatelly... I only worked on her top and shoulder's shield. Oh yes, RupertFaraway, I must to do a top for her. If she didn't have a top, it would be hard defeat enemies: one hand on gun, another covering the boobs. It was a embarrassing situation!
I have substituted the materials I was using before for simple lamberts, to save time in rendering tests. I'm going to pay attention in material only later.
