This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

A good idea is to bake out your light/shadow map with a lambert shader applied after you UV'ed. I found it to be so much easier to texture when you actually have it baked out, you can see the actual model, making it easier to see where you're painting.
