Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Maya Export

Can anyone send me the link to the alias download page or a mel script to export maya models in an obj format.

no offense, but you can't just go to the autodesk website and find it yourself? you've got an online connection *shrug*

What version 'ave you got? 7.0 complete ships with an obj export plugin. It's found in the plugin manager with all the others.

found it was shipped with it just didn't know how to use it...
