Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Lion_O's Apache

New to the forums here. I've been working on the apache Tut for a while now took a break and am back on it. This thing is lots of fun and I look forward to textureing it but I really look forward to Animating it. Here is a quick look at how it's coming out.

Some details about an actual apache

Been following off and on the different models being made here.. and have to say, while the effort is outstanding, several things about the model being made are WAYYYYY out there..

I'll try and include some actual images which may help out, most of the errors seem to be scale errors, tiny wing, tiny engine, tiny pnvs turret (the funky flat dome on top of the nose), efabs not right (efabs are the side bumper looking things, they house electronic components)

Also be aware that the edges of the Apache are very harsh and not as smooth as you have made them.
