Looks pretty good, would you be able to do a closer up render as can't make out the lip movement very well from that far away.

don't be too hard on yourself mr pix. user added image i thought it was pretty good - the sound was a bit harsh and the movements still a little smooth - i felt like it needed more contrast in the way she moved. overall though, i thought it was great - you've clearly put a lot of thought into what she's doing depending on what she's saying which i'd assume is the hardest thing to do.

good luck with animation mentor. my mate - adam gard - is into his second term and loving it.

hey thanx arran thats some nice comments man. Yeah ive been trying to find the funds for about a year for Animation Mentor and now i finally start June 30th.

Yeah I agree it needs more contrast, but there are more things fundametnally wrong with it. originally I only wanted to try lip synching and wasnt going to post it publicly. looking back I shouldve just done a floating head....but I thought I could run before i could walk and attemtped acting.

A friend of mine at AM said there was lots wrong with the body mechanics without even commenting on lipsynching anyway.

All i can say...roll on June! lol! I have ALOT to learn.

Thanx guys

One thing I notice, that could add something to it, is to have her torso move when she is talking, so you can see her breathing when she is talking... it sounds like she is really speaking from the gut.. real breathy.

hey thanx Dingus.

Thats some good advice. Thanx. Subtle movements like that bring animation to life.

However, I think this will be one animation i may 'slide under the rug' so to speak. It was supposed to be a lip synch test. I think I tried to run before I could walk by attempting acting too.

Il start from scratch wen i start AM so i dont want to pick up any bad habbits on the way. From now on, im going to do everything right. lol

No more running, and no more stumbling!! lol

Thanx guys

Yup alot of mechanical problems buts its a decent attempt dude.
People generally should forget about the actual lip sycnhing, thats the easy bit, the performance and belivability comes from the character performance.

Are you using reference i think that would help with alot of the problems you have.

Well what can I say...

Gratz m8. Thats a really good first attempt. I would agree about the animation on her chest and I would try to over extend her movements to really enhance what she is saying, but not too much.

Well done and good job.
