I'm actually kinda grossed out lol, which I guess is a good thing. The squishy look always makes me cringe.

hey - thanks everyone. user added image

come on gec t - frogs are cute - you know it.

chirone - thanks mate. i painted it in photoshop - i laid down a green layer - then added my edited displacement map on top as a linear burn at about 60% opacity. i then started painting patterns on seperate layers and then just experimented a bit with them using filters. i'm planning to take it back into z to clean up the seams.

Arran you are a strange little man.

W.T.H is there a frog in a thread called "Zombie". Only you man. - If nothing else you make me laugh on a very sad day. (Some git broke in and stole my Xbox 360 and "Gears of War 2" Errrrr)

All joking aside some really nice work, on both the Zombie and the frog.

Just seen the final images of your marley project aswell - great work there. We have all seen you grow quite abit as an artest on this site man - well done

I think he painted it live in Zbrush, so no seams.

Looks really good though arran. The Zombie is very nice, and the frog is good also. Kinda creepy though!

trust me - there are definitely some seams! user added image here's my uv map - not great - could have definitely done a better job, especially with the geometry flow, but it'll do. user added image

mayaniac - thanks mate user added image actually apart from a couple of messy unused experiments, i haven't done any zbrush painting yet. so far it's all photoshop. I'm planning to take it into zbrush at the end.
