Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

Those shadows are really faint. Whats the lighting setup like?

its an IBL render with a ramp node attached to the texture ill post up a better render later when i get home

The model looks very nice and well done but the render and the textures on the lights needs quite a bit of work.

The lighting flattens the image.

yeah the renders are pretty crappy i just do them to see how my reflections are like and if the odd triangle here and there are causing any weird artifacts once im done modelling i will start concentrating on the renders

decided to model the tyre treads and fixed a few errors here and there

did a test render not very pleased with it want to start tweaking it though .

Im sure once you tweek it some more mate it will come out better. The car itself looks good though!

yup it was my first time to use the mental ray production shaders like ray switch just wanted to see their capabilities
will post up better renders maybe tomorrow though
