Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

rocket takeoff question

i have modelled a rocket and i would like to make a realistic take of would i go about doing this by using dynamics or maybe a 3d fluidbox? any ideas are helpful thanks guys user added image

I would use fluids for the first swirling smoke bit then I would use particals for the rocket engine, if its a small rocket I would just use particals.........dave
