i keep getting this error -

anyone know where this 'cycleCheck -e off' is?

Turning the cycleCheck -e off will not fix the problem with the blinn colour it will only turn the warning off...........dave

right........... any idea what the problem is - it's only a simple blinn... would deleting the material solve it?


I'd still like to know where the 'off' is ;-]

I think this is one of those hiden menues, if you put( cycleCheck -e off )in your mel editor that might turn it of..................

probably - I can't find a simple answer on the web anyway...

I've solved the problem tho -- somehow the transparency had become linked to a node; I've broken the connection and the errors gone user added image
