Glad you figured it out. I'm not sure what the flip would be caused by, as we can't take a look at how your scene is constructed. I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Hi John,

it was a tough birth but it finaly is real....;-)

there was also something strange with the extruded tube
it had cumulative transforms, i extracted one of the transforms through my expression
i was wundering if there was another way to do that, a friend of mine who helped me with this disolving of one cumulative value talk about a panel that displays some kinda connection hiarchie, but did not speak with him yet cause he was then in a hurry and has very little time, so maybe you know what he was talking about....
i searched in the help file and in maya but did not find anything that does show my constraints and alows me to change the hiarchie of them so the cumulativ does not happen

here is a link to a construction overview .pdf file and the maya file that you saw in the video....
https://www.ieoie.nl/Maya/Create_Bending.zip

i you like to take a look at it, again great thanks....

thank you for your patience and help....
it is very much apreciated......

this flipping issue i have more often with other things aswell
when i have a camera with aim constraint 0,0,0
that is connected to an animation path that goes precisely over Y axe

I don't understand. "Dissolving cumulative transforms"?

look in the expression editor
the trinity expression without a number

delete the lower part and see what happens when you move a locator....
the tubes start moving away faster away from the locator

as there are 2 transforms of 2 different objects that add up their values

Each time you add another entity, making it more complex, and increases the probability of something will go wrong. You are here, constraints, expressions, utility nodes, animation, mathematics and history, all work together.
