Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Maya Dynamic, Float object Problem. Help plz

I created a ocean and I add the boat (pirate) as float object. at the beginning of Animation goes smoothly till 50 frames , but I noticed that the boat comes out and float in the air, He doesn't follow the wave as float object.

So if you know little bit something say something plz.

any link, tutorials.... welcome

Sorry, I do not know on this, but am replying to get it bumped for you.

Maybe explain some more in depth on how you have it set, and or more details.. settings.. etc?

So i think i've worked this out, the object's Y value needs to be above '0' (cant be a minus number say -64).

thanks for reply. but can you see if the boat is floating according to the wave? should be inline with the waves.
my boat its floating on some wave very well. but some time on the air. I can not find the solution. I went through all dvd's and tutorials but they don't mention about this issue,

I hope you have the answer. if its so , please share it with everyone with setting and screenshot.
